said the city's economic development efforts have been
extended to California, New Braunfels and Houston.
“We went there and told them, ‘We want you to come to
League City. We have a lot to offer.’” Harrison said the Schiltterbahn Park may not be located in League City, "but if it is in Galveston County, that's good for the whole county." He noted that American National Insurance Company is about to start construction of a $35 million office building and data center. Harrison also reviewed several road projects and transportation improvement programs.
