Galveston Parks and Recreation Board

Galveston Parks and Recreation Director Barbara Sanderson told the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board today that final bid specifications for the Menard Park Skate Park will be completed soon by Hewitt-Zollars Architects.

"Once that packet is received then a bid proposal will be prepared and issued," said William Cram of Island Skaters Association.  "If all goes well, barring catastrophes and having good weather, we could anticipate seeing a completed project maybe by a mid-summer/July timeframe."
