Galveston Island Pachyderm Club

Three candidates for mayor of Galveston spoke to an overflow crowd at this week's meeting of the Galveston Island Pachyderm Club.  Current city council members Johnny Smecca and Lyda Ann Thomas and Abdul-H Amin accepted the club's invitation.  A fourth announced candidate, Ernie Hunt, was unable to participate.
