WHEREAS, The Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA) is an organization of courtroom lawyers engaged by defendants in civil litigation, and

WHEREAS, the ADTA is committed to an independent judiciary and to the maintenance and the protection of the integrity of the judges in their courtrooms and to the preservation of the jury system, and

WHEREAS, the ADTA condemns the recent acts of violence against our judiciary and the threats and attacks on their actions in applying the rule of law,

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the members of the ADTA are committed to defending the independence of our judiciary, to preserving the jury system and to protecting our judiciary as our judges exert their best efforts to apply the rule of law.
