Thank
You Galveston
Thank
you Galveston for the overwhelming support
& help to the “Galveston House”
project initiated by Galveston-Trivandrum
Sister City Society and the Galveston
Chamber of Commerce.
Galveston House will provide
assistance to the children and other victims
of Tsunami in Kerala.
Our sister city Trivandrum is the
capital city of Kerala and we are providing
them help in their time of need. As of today
we have collected over $5,000 and it clearly
shows the values and generosity of American
people, our expression of freedom and
democracy to the people in that part of the
world.
United States is the Greatest and
India is the largest democracy in the world.
Many
of our friends have contributed towards this
Disaster Relief Fund and it is not possible
to mention everyone’s names since hundreds
have participated in the Galveston House
project.
But it is important that we mention
at least a few of them.
We want to thank the Mayor, City
council, our friends at UTMB especially
nurses and others, the Kiwanis club, Kigore
Mediation, the Rotary clubs of Galveston,
Galveston Chamber of Commerce, Galveston
County Daily News, Guidry News Service,
Kempner Capital Management Fund and many
others.
This project will conclude on 28th
of this month and if anyone want to
contribute please write a check to CMDRF
(Chief Ministers Disaster Relief Fund) and
mail it or drop of to Galveston Chamber of
Commerce, 519 25th street,
Galveston 77551 as soon as possible.
When
you lost everything one dollar is a lot of
money and it will go a long way in their
recovery and we are giving them a second
lease in life.
Thank you Galveston for your generous
support for the Galveston House Project to
help the Tsunami disaster victims of our
sister city. Galveston House project is all
volunteer project and there are no
administrative expenses; every penny
collected will go toward assisting the
recovery and rehabilitation of the Tsunami
victims.
Thank you Galveston for making the
“Galveston House” project a great
