The Medical Center of Southeast Texas held an open house that attracted about 4,000 visitors on Saturday.

The IASIS Healthcare® Corporation center is a state-of-the-art medical facility with approximately 200 beds in all-private rooms. 

Officials say that the new facility will focus on creating Centers of Excellence in cardiology, emergency medicine and women's services.  The Medical Center is equipped with the latest technology and equipment, designed for patient comfort and convenience, and staffed by physicians and employees who are dedicated to providing high-quality health services with caring and compassion.

The medical center will officially open for business on April 16.
