John
LeCour has the common sense, intelligence, and fiscally
responsible values to be a great asset to the Friendswood City
Council. He can listen to all viewpoints and make a fact-based
decision in the same judicious, but timely manner he makes
practical, cost-effective decisions every day in his
engineering job. John will ask the tough questions,
“What are our priorities, how will this help our families,
and where are our tax dollars going?” He can find a
way to get the important jobs done!
Friendswood
is growing; we need John in Position 2, to protect our quality
of life. He understands that growth is good, if we’re
improving the City. John will lobby for businesses that
maintain the City’s character; rather than striving for more
money for Council to spend. He would rather save money
and spend wisely than raise taxes.
I
have known John for 11 years; he is a dedicated volunteer,
honest and straightforward person, and a hard worker. He
has business sense and enjoys “penny pinching!” John
will be a great steward of your trust; he will stand on family
based values and principles. John will reflect the voice of
Friendswood’s citizens on City Council.
The
last day to register to vote is April 7. Early Voting
starts April 20th at
Friendswood
City Hall
. Election Day is Saturday May 7 (City Hall and
Wedgewood Elementary).
