I
am writing to let your readers in Friendswood
know about a citizen running for City Council
Position No. 2.
His
name is John LeCour. I believe that John
is the type of person we need on our city
council. He lobbied City Council in
favor of the 3 percent appraisal cap rate and
will strongly support that position.
If
elected, he will fight for fiscal
accountability from our council. Our
city is rapidly changing, and we need someone
to guide us responsibly through those
changes.
John
and his wife, Sophia, are civic-minded people
and wish to serve our community. They
have our families’ best interests at heart
and will not waiver from that
commitment. John is not in favor of
raising taxes and will look for ways to reduce
spending. He is the kind of candidate
that I believe our city needs.
Remember
to vote, Saturday, May 7. Early voting
starts April 20th at City Hall.
