Eiland Doesn't Have Interests of Constituents At Heart

I have been informed that Rep. Craig Eiland has voted against any tax cap on property appraisals in the House (HJR35 Vote). In my opinion, Rep. Eiland does not have the interest of his constituents at heart to vote against this cap.

The Democratic motto on their website states that they are, "fighting hard for the working people." More and more taxpayers in Galveston County are waking up to the lies that have been promised to them for the past 100 years by Democrats and are starting to vote for Republicans

Eiland's vote against tax relief speaks loud and clear that he is not concerned about taxpayers. If he does not represent the people who voted him into office, then who does he represent? Could it be the County Commissioner's Court or possibly the Central Appraisal District?

Rep. Larry Taylor should be commended for voting for a cap to give homeowners tax relief.
