is in response to Chris J. Mallios' email concerning how Rep.
Eiland voted against the property tax cap.
Mr. Mallios how do you know
what I know or do not know about the political machinations
that occur daily on this small island? What makes this a
great country is the freedom to express one's opinion.
My opinion is that Rep.
Eiland did not vote to give tax relief to the middle income
taxpayers of Galveston County. Why would a
representative not want to give a break to the working class
and help them hold on to their homes?
I am a free and independent
thinker and answer to no one but God. "Free
government requires ACTIVE citizens.
