kind of vague rhetoric is a League City resident trying to
espouse about Craig Eiland to justify his ridiculous vote to
kill property tax relief for homeowners in the City of
Galveston and Texas City. How is it Chris Mallios, resident of
West League City, claims to know more about what is happening
on Galveston Island than the people that live there.
The truth is Mr. Mallios does
not live in Eiland’s State District. Maybe he is just
confused and does not realize his State District
Representative is Larry Taylor, who voted in support of
property tax relief for League City residents.
I believe Galveston City
residents have every right to be upset with their State
Representative (Eiland) for voting against property tax
relief. If my Rep would have voted against the Governor’s
proposed legislation to lower appraisal caps, I would be
screaming for his removal too.
