Galveston Kiwanis

The San Jacinto College Central Wind Symphony will give a free concert on Thursday, April 7 at 7 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 18220 Upper Bay Road, Nassau Bay.

Karen Marston, the central campus' music professor, will conduct the symphony. Sharing the stage is David Bertman, who conducts the symphonic band at the University of Houston. 

The event features the works of David Holsinger, Clifton Williams, Gordon Jacob, Karel Husa and Aaron Copland.
