Association of Defense Trial Attorneys

The Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, an organization of courtroom lawyers engaged by defendants in civil litigation, in a meeting in Galveston last week, approved a resolution condemning "the recent acts of violence against our judiciary and the treats and attacks on their actions in applying the law".  Resolution

"The attack on the judicial in Chicago on the judge's family and the attack in the courtroom in Atlanta are serious, serious matters for the American people," Broom said.  "We need to preserve the integrity, the independence and the accessibility of our third branch of government, our judicial system."
