Houston Municipal Court

A series of warrant sweeps is now under way in the City of Houston affecting citizens who have outstanding delinquent cases.  Release

"The Municipal Court is sending a clear message: citizens who want to avoid arrest must resolve their cases now," said a news release.  "This is not an amnesty."

The law firm of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP is coordinating mass mailing efforts to citizens who have been notified two or more times before.

To avoid arrest, scofflaws are advised to post bond and schedule their cases for arraignment or trial; or they may pay
tickets and fines without going to court.
