Strand Galveston will host its Semi-Annual Sidewalk Sale on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 15, 16 and 17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event has been timed to coincide with Beach Party Weekend, to provide a shopping venue for local residents. Parking on the Strand will be free for the weekend and there is no admission to the Strand District. "The public is invited to participate in the fun as sidewalks are filled with bargains and entertainment for the entire family and to take advantage of the additional experience of riding the trolley," said publicist Mary Jo Naschke.
