than 200 students are volunteering to help with projects on Galveston
Island. This year's
projects include painting a local elderly person’s home, creating a
walking trail in conjunction with Scenic Galveston, work at the animal
shelter, painting at Mt. Zion Church, painting at the Children’s
Crisis Center, replacing picket fences on historic properties and beach
