Margaret Frances Foster

Margaret Frances Foster, 76, was born in Fife, Texas on Nov. 20, 1928 and lived in Galveston County for over 50 years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James A. Foster, and her parents, M. L. Tedder, Sr. and Bessie Tedder. Frances is survived by her son Mark A. Foster and wife Judy, daughter Leighanne Mathews and husband Gary, grandchildren Amber Foster, Jacob Mathews, Jill Denney, Nicole Foster and Rebecca Foster, great-grandchildren Hannah and Jake, one brother, M. L. Tedder, Jr. and one sister, Voncille Purcell, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of lifelong friends.

Our Mother and Maw-Maw was a strong, independent, creative woman with a dynamic character all of her own. We will truly miss her. 

Services will be held at Jack Rowe Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 2p.m.; interment to follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.

Those who wish can make donations in her name to the American Heart Association.
