United
Republicans of Harris County announced its
2006 Primary Endorsements at a press
conference today from the Doubletree Hotel
by the Galleria.
Jerry Mischon,
Chairman says that “our endorsement process is
one of the most important things that we do at
United Republicans and we take it very
seriously. The entire board interviews
candidates in contested races and examines their
qualifications, positions on a wide range of
issues, and potential strength with the general
electorate. From this we then determine who we
believe are the best and most qualified to
represent the Republican mainstream in the fall
election.”
The United
