Mr. Guidry,

In reference to Mrs. Kosty's letter on May 4th, concerning Mayor Shults endorsing me for League City City Council, position 3.

I have not received any notification from Mayor Shults about his endorsing my campaign.

Although she supports the incumbent city councilman who is my opponent in this race, I would hope that Mrs. Kosty would not purposely spread false information that she could not prove. Therefore, I have no choice but to take at face value her claim to have the Mayor’s endorsement of me in writing.

I support Mayor Shults, I look forward to working with him to move League City forward if I am elected, and I will work hard every day to earn the continued support of League City’s citizens.

I will gladly accept the Mayor’s endorsement of my campaign and my New Ideas for a New League City including more high quality commercial growth to reduce our taxes and cutting the wasteful spending of taxpayer money.

As an example, because I have a degree in finance and experience with large financial projects, I believe the private sector should assume the financial risk for projects like Big League Dreams and the Butler Longhorn Museum; similar projects in the future should be built with private money not taxpayer money.
