Tony Buzbee Takes Issue With GuidryNews.com

Tony Buzbee, who appeared before Galveston County Commissioners Court to discuss a lease of parking spaces in the Llewllyn Building parking lot, objected to the report of the meeting published by Guidry News Service in Gulf Coast E-news. Report Your report demonstrates the reason why I got so upset. My company has NEVER had a delinquency. Yet, your report makes it appear that it once was delinquent, and the delinquency was removed. And of course, your story implies that this issue was political jousting, when in fact I was simply trying to clear my name in response to reckless remarks. Tony Buzbee Jim Guidry responds: Tony, I am sorry that you are upset. I will publish your remarks. I thought that our story explained that the delinquency was with the tax foreclosed property that you purchased; but it was not removed from the record immediately. That is why you were due the apology. If that was not clear, I apologize. If political jousting was not an accurate description of some of the discourse, I apologize.
