Text of Email from Anthony Buzbee to Tax Assessor-Collector Cheryl
Johnson October 27, 2006
I've collected
three statements of people who saw your wink
and smile at Ken Clark and then have the
tape of what he said thereafter. The
smart thing to do was simply apologize for
your office's mistake, which apparently you
won't do. You should not accuse
someone of being delinquent on their taxes
without having your ducks in a row.
I'm not sure what your education is, but
such an accusation is called "slander per
se." I gave you a chance to act
like a normal human being who made a
mistake. I suggest you contact
legal counsel. I tried to be nice to
you but I'm now done with you. Your
investigation is bogus just like your
information you provided to Ken Clark.
You really should not have picked a fight
with me. I will be seeing you soon.
