Albert Brown, Jr., 73, passed away on November 27, 2006, at UTMB Hospital Galveston, TX

Albert was born March 10, 1933, to Albert, Sr. and Frances Smith Brown in Galveston, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, he was recently departed from his wife of 53 years, Lillian Shanks Brown. Albert attended school in Galveston, where he lived for many years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. After the Korean War he and his family moved to West Texas City in 1968. He was currently living in La Marque, Texas.

He is survived by three daughters, Sharlet Ann Brown, Darlene (Everett) Brown Roland and Angela Brown Williams all of Houston; ten grandchildren, Nicole, Dominic, Marcellus, Kristen, Asia, Ashlan, Isaiah, Jammaca, Jayelyn and Jasmine; six great grandchildren, Sha Nay, Coy, Sha Tara, Sha Nia, Tyrone(TJ) and Dominic, Jr.; one sister, Etta Wells Goffney of Galveston, TX, and other family members including nieces, nephews, in laws (The Shanks Family), additional family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at E R Johnson Family Mortuary, 3828 Ave. O @ 39th St., Galveston, TX with Rev. Eddie Johnson, officiating.
