Mr.
James Deadrick, 86, entered into
eternal rest December 23, 2006, at
his home surrounded by his family.
James was born January 28, 1920
to Cap DeSoto and Willie Bell
Lacy Deadrick. Mr. Deadrick
retired from Petroleum
Helicopter Inc (PHI). He was
preceded in death by his
daughter, Florence Courtney;
son-in-law, Joseph Lattimore; 6
brothers, DeSoto; J. W.; L. J.;
Amos; Henry; Hurbert and 5
sisters, Jane Ellen, Rose,
Elsie, Claudia and M. L..
He is survived and will be
deeply missed by his devoted
wife Daisy Deadrick, Galveston,
Texas; daughters, Irene V.
Walker (Eugene); Jane Lattimore
and Enola Deadrick; sons, James
L. Deadrick and Samuel Cornelius
of Anahuac, Texas; loving
sister, Martha Matthews of
Palacious, Texas; sister-in-law,
Barbara Winfield, Texas City,
Texas; brothers-in-law, John Lee
Jackson (Dee), Anahuac, Texas
and Roy White of San Antonio,
Texas.; granddaughters,
Virginia L. Jones (Albert) of
London, England; Janet M.
Lattimore; Darenae Alexander of
Galveston,Texas; Deaunna
Deadrick and Alicia Courtney of
Houston, Texas; grandsons, Norma

Visitation will begin on
Thursday, December 28, 2006,
from 4-7:00 p.m. at Wynn Funeral
Home, 602-32nd street,
Galveston, Texas. The family
will receive friends at the
funeral home from 7-8:00 p.m.
The Homegoing celebration will
be held on Friday, December 29,
at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of
Wynn Funeral Home. Burial will
follow at Lakeview Cemetery in
Galveston. Pallbearers will be
family members and friends.
