William Clay Golliday "Dollar"

William Clay "Dollar" Golliday, went on to be with the Lord on October 18, 2006, at the age of 60. His transition was peaceful.

William was born on November 16, 1945, in Cascilla, MS, to the late Haly and Birdie Mae Clay Golliday, the 1st of twelve children. He worked at the Southwestern, Bluebonnet and Moody Compresses for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother L. B. Tripple. This mighty man of valor is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Golliday; sons, Malcolm L. Golliday (Lakeshia) and William Brent Golliday; daughter, Brittany Star Golliday; grandchildren, Makia and Makayla Golliday; mother, Birdie Mae Golliday; brothers, Joe Lee Clay Tripple, Gregory Black, Sr., J. W.Golliday and Charles Golliday, Sr.; sisters, Clara Golliday, Lucille Gordon, Joyce Golliday, Marystine Bradbery, Bobbie Golliday and Dannie McDuffy; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will begin at 9AM on Thursday, October 26, 2006, followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Harold Block, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

We the Golliday family greatly appreciate the Hospice Care Team for all of their patience and help with assisting William in his last precious days here on earth.
