Carolina M. Patino

Mrs. Carolina M. Patino passed from this life Thursday, November 23, 2006, in Webster.

Born February 17, 1923 in Houston, Mrs., Patino had been a resident of Santa Fe for 33 years, previously of Galveston.  She was a dedicated homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and member of the Order of the Eastern Star – John Mitchell Chapter.   

Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Carlos V. Patino, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rogers and Wendy Patino of Santa Fe; daughter, Ana C. Lopez of San Antonio; brothers, Robert Mancillas of San Antonio, Daniel Mancillas of Galveston; sisters, Dominga Johnson of Galveston, Leonora Sanchez, Mary Cruz Smith, both of Santa Fe, Linda Serrato of Galveston; grandchildren, Hector Patino and wife, Christy, Adam Lopez, Mike Lopez, Esteban Lopez, Marissa Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Breanna Patino and Alex Carlos Patino.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Reverend John Kappe, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Alta Loma Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Adam Lopez, Mike Lopez, Daniel Mancillas, Robert Mancillas, Greg Meyer, Hector Patino, Tony Rabago and Juan Rodriguez.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501, with a Vigil service beginning at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Sister Mary Anne Hollmann followed by the Rosary recited by the Guadalupanos. www.hayesfuneralhome.com
