Kevin Wynne Ridens, 45, of Galveston, passed away October 19, 2006.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 24^th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Niall Nolan as Celebrant.  Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors after 5:00 pm, Monday, October 23^rd, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 pm.

Kevin was born September 18, 1961, in Galveston, Texas.  He worked as a journeyman plumber for Mark-1 Plumbing, Inc.

He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel A. Ridens, Jr.; and twin brother, Keith Wayne Ridens.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn Danielle Ridens, of Galveston; mother, Betty Ridens, of Galveston; sisters, Kay Marie Long and husband, Jeff, of Florida; and Anne E. Smith, of Houston; brother, Jimmy Ridens and wife, Cynthia, of Galveston; nieces, Chelsea Ridens, Brittany Long, and Morgan Long; nephews, Matthew Ridens and Joshua Long; and sister-in-law, Anne Ridens, of Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, Matthew Ridens, Mike Parks, Allen Green, John Novelli, Wally Overly, III, Jeffery Long, and Andrew Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be E. Sinks McLarty, Jr., MD, Sammie Parks, Don Watts, Beau Johnson, John Pruitt, Joshua A. Long, and Cullen Archer.
