Mrs. Annie V. Wright passed from this life Monday, November 27, 2006, in Texas City.

Born June 14, 1915 in Galveston, TX, Mrs. Wright had been a resident of Santa Fe for 60 years, previously of Galveston, TX. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, had worked as a beautician from 1960-1973, was an excellent seamstress and was totally devoted to her husband, James.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of nearly 65 years, James J. Wright, Sr.; parents, Andrew and Katherine Fleming; brothers, Andrew and Milton Fleming; grandson, Billy Don Moser and grandson-in-law, Jimmy Pancher.

Survivors include her sons, James J. Wright, Jr. and wife, Caroline, John D. Wright and wife, Judy; daughters, Mildred Mazzucco and husband, Thomas, Sr., Doris Herman and husband, Russell, Sr. all of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Michael and Sherrie Wright, Freddie and Donna Moser, Russell Herman, Jr. and wife, Sara, Thomas Mazzucco, Jr., Troy and Lori Mazzucco, Michele Pancher, Veronica and Alfio LoFaro; great-grandchildren, Travis Wright, Curtis Moser, Kevin Moser, Justin Herman, Brandon Mazzucco, Adam Mazzucco, Alex Mazzucco, Tyler McGrew, Chris McGrew, Erica Moser, Amanda LoFaro, Lisa and Andy Videl, Devyn Herman, Macy Wright; great-great grandson, Luke Videl.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2006, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Reverend Chad Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Russell Herman, Jr., Thomas Mazzucco, Sr., Thomas Mazzucco, Jr., Troy Mazzucco, Freddie Moser, Jr. and Michael Wright.
