John C. Yarbrough, 49, departed this life on Sunday, January 22, 2006, at UTMB Hospital.

John was born November 26, 1956, in Galveston. He was a graduate of Ball High School in 1975 and was self employed. He was preceded in death by his father, Ornton Yarbrough; brother, Charlie Yarbrough; grandparents, Charlie and Leitha Brown.

He is survived by his mother, Emma L. Yarbrough; children, John II and Mandi Yarbrough; sister, Aleitha Alexander; brother, Rev. Howard Hall, Jr.; aunt, Girlie Simmons; mother of his children, Karen Arnold; host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4PM today followed by a wake from 7-8PM at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 27, 2006, at the West Point Baptist Church, with Pastor Kerry W. Tillmon, officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
