Elect Bret Griffin for Judge

by Janice Jones
October 20, 2006

Bret Griffin is the most qualified candidate for Judge of Court #2. Bret’s resume is impeccable. As Assistant District Attorney, he supervised the prosecution of more than 50,000 criminal cases in little over a two-year period. While serving on the Grand Jury, I witnessed Bret literally moving volumes of court cases through the system.

Bret has worked on the streets with local police officers and has seen up close the devastating effect crime can have on victims. When Bret is elected Judge, he will make sure that justice will be delivered in a fair and equitable way to all citizens.

The incumbent judge failed to pay taxes on property he owned for sixteen years. Voters need to ask, “How could this happen?” Regular citizens that choose not to pay taxes have their property foreclosed before sixteen years.

Galveston County is experiencing a change in leadership in all government entities. The old way of doing things in the county, for the past one hundred years, can be amended by voting the most qualified candidates into office.

Elect a judge that will be tough on crime, follows the law and has a strong work ethic. Vote for Bret Griffin.
