Negative
attack ads paid for by Democratic incumbents
have been airing on a cable news network.
One ad claims that Bret Griffin, candidate
for County judge of Court #2, returns
criminals back to the streets of Oklahoma.
The ad fails to mention that Bret Griffin
was successfully doing a job he was hired to
do.
The fact
that the incumbent, Mr. Dibrell, had not
paid his property taxes for sixteen years
suggests he placed himself above the law. It
isn't appropriate for a judge to not obey
the law. Ordinary citizens don't have the
luxury of waiting to pay their property
taxes until they feel like it.
The
negative ad paid for by the Yarbrough
campaign infers that Chris Stevens, running
for the County Judge position, has not paid
his property taxes. In four public debates,
the incumbent not once stated how he would
control the tax rate.
Negative TV
ads are costing the old-time incumbents a
ton of money. The incumbents must be worried
to resort to smear attacks such as these
ads.
Vote to
remove these greedy politicians from office
and replace them with new leaders.
