Libertarian Candidate Smither Is Best Hope

Like many
Texans, I am concerned about the dirty
attacks on Tom Delay. I realize he has
pulled a few dirty stunts himself, but I
don't remember him launching unwarranted
criminal accusations at an opponent. Now
the Democrats seem to be poised to reap
rewards for this gross misconduct. With
no Republican on the ballot in CD22, the
only ballot opposition they have is a
Libertatian, Bob Smither.
Sure, the
Republicans have a write in candidate,
but we all know how well that works.
Since Libertarian principles more
closely match the sentiments of CD22
voters than Democrats do, I believe that
the Libertarian candidate Bob Smither is
the best hope the Republicans of CD22
have of keeping that seat away from the
Democrats and keeping them from being
rewarded for their sins.
