Mr. Norman G. Bray passed from this life Tuesday, January 2, 2007, in Texas City.

Born January 18, 1946 in Little Rock, AR, Mr. Bray had been a resident of Texas City for 39 years. He had been employed as a postman for the United States Postal Service for 35 years and served in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara (Kinchen) Bray and is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Valerie Bray; son, Kevin Bray and wife, Debbie Olsen of Galveston, daughter, Ramona Neuman and husband, Tony of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Jennifer Neuman, Lee Neuman, Brittany Neuman, Christian Bray, Isabella Bray; father, Calvin Bray of Texas City; sister, Cordelia Scher and husband, David of Santa Fe and very close family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Dr. Rick Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.

Casketbearers will be Marty Bilbrey, Shane Bilbrey, Claude Morgan, Darrel Morgan, Darrel Morgan, Jr. and Ken Tenhet.
