Mrs.
Elaine Campbell passed from this
life Tuesday evening, January 9,
2007, at her home.
Born
November 19, 1929 in St. Rose, LA,
Mrs. Campbell had been a resident of
Texas City for 6 months, previously
of Santa Fe. She was a homemaker
and had been a resident of Galveston
County since she was 4 years old,
having lived in Arcadia from 1956 to
1970 and Santa Fe from 1970 to
2006. She was also a 50-year member
of All Saint’s Episcopal Church.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, Benoit David and Laura
(Roberts) Friloux; sister, Dena
Friloux; brothers, Hugh and
Glenn Friloux.
Survivors include her loving
husband of over 60 years, Calwin
V. Campbell; sons, Calwin
Campbell, Jr. and wife, Joyce of
Cushing, TX, Charles David
Campbell and wife, Virginia of
Texas City, Clint Campbell and
wife, Kay of Conroe; daughter,
Cathy Campbell Webster and
husband, Larry of Ft. Davis; 10
Grandchildren; 8
Great-Grandchildren; brothers,
Curtis J. Friloux of Texas City,
Lloyd Friloux of OK.
Funeral services will be
conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday,
January 12, 2007, at All Saint’s
Episcopal Church with Dr. David
Kirkaldy officiating.
Entombment will follow at
Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery
under the direction of Hayes
Funeral Home.
Casketbearers will be Calwin
Campbell, Jr., Charles Campbell,
Clint Campbell, Christopher
Campbell, Chad Campbell and Joe
Webster. Honorary bearers will be
Eddie Powers, Howard Scoggins and
Leonard Walton.
