Erica Felisha Chachere, 30, received her reward of eternal rest on Friday, December 29, 2006, at UTMB Hospital.

Erica was born August 19, 1976, in Galveston, Texas. She attended public school in Galveston and graduated from LaMarque High School in 1995. She was a member of the Avenue L Baptist Church and served under the leadership of the late Rev. Andrew Berry and late Rev. Clifford Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Sarah Chachere, Sr., Webb Overshine and Tereica Tillman; aunt, Mary Nash; uncle, George E. Overshine.

Left to cherish memories is her daughter, Sarlene Nunley of LaMarque; father, Hubert (Carol) Chachere of Galveston; mother, Ruby (Edward, Sr.) Tillman of La Marque; grandparents, Mary L. Overshine of Lufkin and Fred Tillman, Sr. of Galveston; brothers, Curtis E. March, Sr., Edward J. Tillman, Jr., Felton Joseph (Brandie); sisters, Markisha D. Chachere, Crystal Chachere and Melisa Joseph; nephews, De Marcus, Curtis, Jr., De Eric, Kelan and Kanya; nieces, Raven, Brittany, Abrina, Sharmaine and Kierra; devoted friends, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Donald James, Darlene Davis, Warlene Prior, Roshanda Caraway and Hontrel Gee and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5th from 4-8PM at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2007, at the Avenue L Baptist Church with Rev. Dexter Henderson officiating and Rev. Don Henderson, eulogist. Burial will follow at Rising Star Cemetery in La marque.
