Beatrice Feast Gillians, 92, received
her reward of eternal rest on Saturday,
December 30, 2006, at Gulf Health Care
Center in Galveston.
She was born on December 28, 1914, to
Sam and Semonia Feats in LeMoyen, LA
before moving to Galveston in 1947. She
was employed as a manger of Stewart
Beach Bath House until her retirement.
She also was a faithful member of the
Live Oak Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; brothers, Isaac and Frank
Feast.
Beatrice is survived by her devoted
sister, Alberta (Willie Allen) Pamphlin
of Galveston; brothers, L.C. (Eula)
Feast of Galveston, Phillip Feast, Sr.,
Manzey Feast and Raymond Feast all of
Maringouin, LA; sister in law, Mary
Feast of Memphis, TN; beloved niece whom
she helped raised, Roxanne Jackson;
beloved and devoted friend, Herman
Turner of Galveston; a host of nieces,
nephews and friends.
Viewing will begin at 4PM on Friday,
January 5th followed by a wake service
from 7-8PM at E. R. Johnson Family
Mortuary. A service celebrating her life
will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday,
January 6, 2007, at the Live Oak Baptist
Church with Rev. Vernon L. Baines,
officiating. Burial will follow at
Lakeview Cemetery.
