Ms.
Lori Ann (Shaffer) Sinclair passed
from this life Wednesday morning,
January 10, 2007, in San Leon.
Born September 9, 1972 in Texas
City, Lori had been a lifelong
resident of Santa Fe, was employed
as a waitress and was a member of
Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic
Church. She graduated from Santa Fe
High School in 1991 and had been
very active in sports, which
consisted of softball, volleyball,
and track. She loved to cook and
enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her
grandparents, Jack and Margie
Shaffer; uncles, Tim and Tom
Amato and Earl Shaffer.
Survivors include her sons,
Jimmie “Travis” Brown of Santa
Fe, James “Denim” Sinclair of
Wortham, TX; parents, John and
Shirley Shaffer; sisters, Dana
Shaffer Hughes and husband,
Richard of Santa Fe, Kara
Shaffer and fiancé, Daryl Wilson
of Santa Fe; grandparents, Tony
and Joyce Amato; aunts and
uncles, Jimmy and Dottie Doak,
Bob and Barbara Wylie, Tony and
Cindy Amato; nephews, Kane
Kershaw, Jeremy Hughes; niece,
Alyssa Hughes; God parents,
Linda and Louis Overbeck and
numerous cousins and other
family members.
A
Funeral Mass will be celebrated
10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 13,
2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes
Catholic Church in Hitchcock
with Reverend John Kappe,
Celebrant. Interment will
follow at Galveston Memorial
Park Cemetery under the
direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
Casketbearers will be Bobby Doak,
Dickie Doak, Mike Doak, Allen
Shaffer, Brian Shaffer, Dusty Traill,
Jason Wylie and Joseph Wylie.
Honorary bearer will be Private Greg
Amato.
Vigil Services will be 7:00 p.m.
Friday in the Chapel of Hayes
Funeral Home with Sister Mary Anne
Hollmann and Deacon Harold Eskew
officiating.
