Daniel Guidry, who has entertained on the Texas Gulf Coast since the 1970s, has provided some of his original music for Guidry News Service.

Here Daniel is pictured with John Smith, Gary's Son, in a photo taken in the early 1970s in a performance of Silverhawk, a popular band in Alief, Texas in the late 70s and early 80s.

Dan now plays in a Galveston County band called Work in Progress.
