George Michael Hausinger

SAN ANTONIO - George Michael Hausinger, born August 18, 1957 went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. 

A visitation will be at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston on Sunday evening from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5, 2007 at 5:00 pm at San Antonio First Baptist Church Chapel with Pastor Don Guthrie officiating.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at Little River Cemetery near Cameron, Texas.

Mike had fought a long hard battle with diabetes.  Mike was graduated from Ball High School, Galveston.  He loved all sports but was an avid baseball player and fan.  He loved to fish and hunt with his friends.

Preceded in death by his father, George Hausinger of Hitchcock, Texas, Mike is survived by his wife, Caron Canady Hausinger of San Antonio; a son, Michael Austin Hausinger of Huntsville, Texas; a daughter, Aaryn Kristen Hausinger of Arlington, Texas; his mother, Earllene Hausinger of Carrollton, Texas; a sister, Dee Ann Hausinger of Texas City, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Buddy and Nancy Canady of San Antonio.  He is also survived by extended family and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made in Mike’s name to the American Diabetes Association or to the Little River Cemetery Association in care of Mrs. Leland Burnett, 185 Orth Street  B.A., Burlington, Texas 76519.
