Mrs. Melinda Lynn Rehm

SANTA FE – Mrs. Melinda Lynn Rehm passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, February 7, 2007, at her home, surrounded by her family.
 
Born March 29, 1965 in Texas City, Melinda, known to many as “Linda”, had been a resident of Santa Fe for the majority of her life.  She was a homemaker, attended Pentecostals of Santa Fe Church and enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially enjoying time spent on their camping trips to Inks Lake State Park.
 
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Michael Rehm; son, Michael Rehm, II; daughter, Erin Rehm, all of Santa Fe; father and step-mother, Jack and Maria Howard of Dickinson; Margaret Howard of Santa Fe; brother, Darrin Howard and wife, Gina of League City; sisters, Cindy Rex and husband, Charles of Santa Fe, Denise Baker and husband Richard of Clear Lake; grandfather, Curtis Fruge of Santa Fe; step-brothers, Randy Rodriguez and Alex Rodriguex, III and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, Brother Jeffery Eernisse and Reverend L. M. Jeane officiating.  Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park.
 
Casketbearers will be Richard Baker, Dale Mathew, Steve Minks, Jason Rehm, Rod Rehm and Charles Rex.
 
Friends may call from 5 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
