The Greatest Wife and Mom
Our wonderful and beloved wife and mother,
Mary Bell Devotie Currie, 82, of Galveston,
Texas was born November 28, 1924 on the
island and passed away into the Lords
loving hands on February 21, 2007. She
showed great strength and fortitude as she
heroically held on through a 10 month battle
before succumbing to complications from a
massive stroke. Her faith remained eternal
throughout. We rejoice that she is now with
Jesus. She will be remembered for her
incredibly strong faith, loving and selfless
ways and her beautiful brown eyes and warm
smile. Most of all, her love, compassion
and guidance as a wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, aunt and friend.

Joseph Albert and Cora May Bell Devotie.
