Betty Ann Sonnier
Emken-Linton Funeral Home

Betty Ann Sonnier, 75, of Texas City, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007, at  her residence.

 

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church in La Marque, 2024 – 12th Ave., La Marque, with Pastor Richard Brunk and Pastor James Benson officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, at the church.

 

Mrs. Sonnier was born February 8, 1932.  She was a retired pharmacy assistant and had been a long time employee of Gulf Greyhound Park.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

 

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Sonnier, of Texas City; mother Mabel Dishberger; son Danny Sonnier and wife Patricia; daughters Debbie Benson and husband James, Cindy Martin and husband Danny, and Terri Brunk and husband Richard; brothers Henry Dishberger and wife Meryl, Walter William Disberger, Jr. and wife Ruth, and Thomas Dishberger; grandchildren:  Kim Evans, Zachary Southard, Troy Pacheco, Sara Piel, Tara Palmer, Hunter Brunk, Lauren Brunk, Tiffany Benson, Misty Roberts, Shawn Benson, Jason Sonnier, and Angela Garcia; and 14 great-grandchildren.
