Celestine "Tean" Allen, 63 departed this life on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, at UTMBHospital.

Celestine was born August 21, 1943, in Galveston, Texas to Cornelius and Ellen Randall Wiley.

She attended public school in Galveston, and was a 1961 graduate of CentralHigh School. She retired from UTMBHospital, where she worked as a Unit Clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ankles Allen; grandson, Rodrick Devonne Allen, Jr..

She leaves to cherish memories with her sons, Reginald Wayne Wiley, Rodrick Devonne Allen and Bobby J. Howard, Jr.; daughter, Yolanda Yvette Allen; grandchildren, DasDevonne Wayne, Devonna and Regina Allen, Anniquia Wiley and Bobby James Howard III; devoted friend, Dolores Edwards; host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4PM on Sunday, March 4th, followed by a wake form 7-8 PM at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary. A service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 5, 2007, at Mt Olive Baptist Church with Pastor Norris D. Burkley, Sr., officiating. She will be laid to rest in the HoustonNationalCemetery, Houston, TX.
