Carolos Mejia, Sr.

Carlos Mejia, Sr. age 60 of Galveston died Monday, March 5, 2007 at his residence in Galveston. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, March 9, 2007 at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home with Reverend Rusty Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston.

Born November 4, 1946 in McAllen, Texas to Guadalupe O. Mejia, Sr. and Eliria Hernandez Mejia, Carlos was a machinist retired with the Jet Machine Works Company and also owned his own construction company. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Stella Aguire, survivors include his daughters, Mary Jane Curry and husband Kevin, and Tammy Seaton and husband Simon all of The Woodlands; sons, Carlos Mejia, Jr. of Conroe, Adam Mejia and wife Geogia of San Francisco, Tommy mejia of Austin, and Christopher Michael Mejia of Galveston; sisters, Celia Herrera, Bertha Quinones and husband Frank, Eliria Mireles and husband John, Mary Anastacio and husband Luciano all of Houston, and Irma Montoya and husband Fernando of La Porte; grandchildren, Robert and Eric Hernandez, Anna and Carlos Mejia, and Eleanor Seaton; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
