Mary Elizabeth RoseMs. Mary Elizabeth Rose passed from this life Wednesday, March 21, 2007, in Texas City.

Born January 26, 1961 in Rantoul, IL, Ms. Rose had been a longtime area resident of GalvestonCounty.  She had been self-employed as a housekeeper, attended GleanerFullGospelChurch and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, boating, being with friends and having a goodtime. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Cleon Benigar and is survived by her sons, Jason Wayne Petershagen of Tennessee Colony, TX, Timothy James Petershagen of Texas City; daughter, Miranda Petershagen of Dickinson; grandchildren, Brittney Johnson, Haylie Obright; mother, Barbara Jean Benigar of Danbury; brother, Michael John Benigar and wife, Sonia of Santa Fe; Diana Lynn Stokeley of Ohio.

Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home.  A private cremation will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 4 - 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
