 Bernardo Soto Ponce III, 50, passed from this life on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at UTMB in Galveston, Texas. He was a proud father, loving grandfather and longtime employee, partner and friend of Texas Roofing Company.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Elizabeth Stubbs. He is survived by his father, Bernardo Soto Ponce II, mother of his 2 sons and married for 24 years to Annabelle Ponce, son Bernardo Soto Ponce IV, son Brian Steven Ponce and wife Marbella, granddaughters Asia and Kayla Ponce, sister Billie Jo Kline, aunt Ginger Dee, mother-in-law Clelia Jimenez and numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home starting at 5:00 pm with a rosary to be held at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10:00 am at Malloy & Son Funeral Home in Galveston, Texas. Procession will continue to Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
Casketbearers will be Bobby O. Lee, Sr., Dennis Jones, Sr., Douglas Rutherford, Armando Jimenez, Sr., Jared Sanchez, and Edward Kolenovsky.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the SICU-B unit at UTMB for their hard work and amazing support.
Everyone’s visits, thoughts, and prayers by family and friends will never be forgotten.
