Broussards Mortuary

Nathan L. BroussardNathan L. Broussard, 69, of Port Arthur, passed away, Friday March 30, 2007 at his residence.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2007 at St. Therese the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 to 8 PM Sunday, April 1, 2007 at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30.

Mr. Broussard was a native of Spindletop, Texas and lived in Port Arthur all his life. He was a diesel mechanic and worked for the Port Arthur Independent School District for several years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and boating and was a charter member of the Citizens on Patrol service in the Port Acres area.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Broussard of Port Arthur; one son, Robert Lee Broussard and his wife Pat of San Marcos, Texas; daughter, Vanessa Roy and her husband Ray of Hillebrant and his sister, Linda Broussard of Port Arthur. He is also survived by his granddaughters; Amanda Broussard of St. Louis, Missouri and Layla Roy of Port Arthur and his Aunts; Vernice Farchione and Belle Angelle both of Lake Livingston. Mr. Broussard will be especially missed by his four legged sidekick Zues.
