Elena Catalina Puentes Barrientos
Carnes Brothers Funeral Home
Elena Catalina Puentes Barrientos, 1 year old, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007 at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Niles Nolan, Celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 2007 with a Vigil Service to be held at 6:30 pm.
Elena was born March 12, 2006 in Galveston to Genaro Barrientos, Jr. and Veronica Puentes. She is survived by her parents, Genaro Barrientos, Jr. and Veronica Puentes; grandparents, Raul “Paco” and Sara Puentes and Genaro Barrientos, Sr. and wife Maria; Aunts, Erica Puentes, Monica Puentes and Jack Blankenship, Vanessa Delcid and husband, Oscar and Valerie Barrientos; uncle, Samuel Barrientos; cousin, Siera Blankenship all of Galveston; great uncles and great aunts, numerous cousins other relatives and family friends.
The family would like to express their thanks to the John Sealy Hospital emergency room staff and the John Sealy Children's Hospital staff for their dedicated care of Elena during her time there.
