Johnnie L. BigfordMr. Johnnie L. Bigford passed from this life Tuesday, April 3, 2007, in Texas City.

Born August 31, 1965 in Texas City, TX, Mr. Bigford had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe.  He had been self-employed as a landscaper and a small engine repairman, a member of Midway Church of Christ, graduate of Santa Fe High School class of 1983, and enjoyed fishing, landscaping, the outdoors and especially loved his wife and daughters. 

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Lana Howard Bigford; daughters, Brandie, Brittanie and Brooke Bigford all of Santa Fe; parents, Willie J. Bigford, Sr. and wife, Iletha of Cookietown, OK; parents-in-law, E. Ray and Diane Howard; brother, Willie James Bigford, Jr. of Santa Fe; sister, Teletha Bigford Gilmore of Cookietown, OK; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2007, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home with Mr. Russell McLaughlin officiating.  A private cremation will be conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
