Erscourt Leonard PriceMr. Erscourt Leonard Price passed from this life Thursday, April 5, 2007, in  Galveston.


Born July 19, 1930 in La Ceiba, Honduras, Mr. Price came to the United States in 1959, had been employed as a Merchant Seaman for Lykes Brothers in New Orleans and had been a member of Mt.MoriahMissionaryBaptistChurch, the National Maritime Union and enjoyed fishing and traveling.  


He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 46 years, Ethel T. Price; parents, Egbert Price and Delles Webster and is survived by his sons, Keith Price of New York, NY, Alex Stewart of Galveston, Marvin Price of Austin; daughter, Joette Boyer of Texas City; grandchildren, Keenan Price of Arkansas, Valerie, Caleb and Joseph Boyer; a host of brothers and sisters including, Ennis Bennett, Robert Vargas, Egbert Price, Jr.,  Lucille Price, Esmeralda Woods, Elaine Price, Graciella Stewart, Evadne Hendricks; numerous nieces and nephews including, Kerry, Marie, Camille, Joan, Carlton, Clive, Cecil,Suzette.


A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home with interment at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery next to his beloved wife.
