Joyce McVay Thaman, 64, of Dickinson, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007, at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 18th, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Burial will follow the service at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 17th, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson.
Joyce was born August 9, 1942, in Texas City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Virgie McVay, and her husband, John Thaman.
She is survived by her son, Brett David VanDyke, and wife, Lisa, of Houston; stepsons, Bill Thaman and wife, Kim, of Austin; and Kevin Thaman and wife, Kim, of Missouri City; grandson, Bryce VanDyke; stepgrandchildren: Kenedy, Karley, Kyler, Emma, and Zachary Thaman; sisters, Ann and Faye; brothers, Leroy and Earl; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Joyce will be missed more than she could have ever imagined.
